Dr Wayne Norval has been Practicing Medicine for more than 24 years. Dr Norval is a Vocationally Registered (Specialist) General Practitioner, and he has his Fellowship with the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners. Dr Norval is the Practice Principle of Family First Medical Centre and The Graceville Skin Cancer Clinic. Dr Wayne Norval holds his Diploma in Skin Cancer Surgery, and he has his Advanced Certificate in Skin Cancer Medicine and Advanced Certificate in Dermoscopy obtained through the Skin Cancer College of Australia. He is one of only 2 Doctors in Hervey Bay that are fully accredited by the Skin Cancer College of Australia. Actively working towards completing his Skin Cancer Fellowship Exams Dr Norval is passionate about Skin Cancer Medicine and is fully proficient at completing Comprehensive Skin Cancer Skin Checks with the aid of a Mole Scanner, Biopsies, Skin Cancer Excisions including minor and major skin Grafts and Skin flaps. With additional specialised experience in Obstetrics, Gynaecology, Psychiatry and Emergency Medicine Dr Norval also continues in his 12th year to be an accredited Supervisor for GP Registrars in training and has since 2018 been approved by AHPRA to be a Primary Supervisor to provide level 1 – 4 supervisions for International Medical Graduates. Dr Sarita Gurung is from Nepal and is one of the mix billing GP’s. She is a GP fellow and has completed her fellowship from RACGP (Royal Australian College of General practitioner). Dr Sarita has her MBBS, obtained her master’s degree in Obstetrics and Gynaecology, and has completed her Master’s in Public Health. Dr Gurung’s special interests are women’s health, preventative health and our skin cancer clinic. Dr Sarita’s is in theatre on Monday’s and Wednesday’s with patients completing Skin Checks and Skin Excisions. Dr Sarita’s current billing structure for GP is bulk billed for patients under 18, pension card holders, health care card holders and DVA. Dr Tapash Saha is an experienced GP from Bangladesh and is one of the bulk billing doctors. Dr Saha had worked extensively in general medicine, neurology and cardiology for 4 years gaining experience in Dhaka Medical College Hospital, Bangladesh. He also has obtained his Membership of the Royal Colleges of the United Kingdom (MRCP UK) in 2014. Dr Daniel Gonzalez relocated to Hervey Bay from Melbourne to start contracting with the Family First for a long-term placement in 2020. Dr Daniel has completed his MBBS and completed his fellowship with RACGP (Royal Australian College of General practitioner). Originally from Mexico, Dr Gonzalez is an experienced GP who started his medical career in the Emergency Department at one of Mexico’s largest public hospitals and has since worked extensively in General Medicine.
