PRACTICE MANAGER

Alissa has been a part of the Family First Team in 2016, starting from Medical Receptionist and working her way to Practice Manager. Alissa has previously owned her own business prior to working at Family First with years of experience of management. Alissa has always had a passion for the medical industry with completing her Certificate 3 in Medical Administration and her Assistant in Nursing. Alissa works with our Doctors, Nursing and Admin team to provide the best service for our patients. Alissa enjoys spending her weekends doing activities with her family and friends.

SENIOR MEDICAL RECEPTIONIST

Melinda has worked for the Family First Team since 2015 as a Senior Medical Receptionist. Melinda has over 25 years’ experience in the medical industry. Melinda has her Certificate 3 in Business Administration, Certificate 3 in Medical Administration and Commission of Declarations. Melinda mainly looks after our Workcover, medical reports, ADF transitions, Insurance claims and Medical legal for patients. Melinda likes to spend her free time at the beach and going to the gym.

SENIOR MEDICAL RECEPTIONIST

Maddie has been a part of the Family First Team since July 2020 years as a Senior Medical Receptionist. Maddie has 6 years reception experience and holds her Certificate 4 in Business Administration and Certificate 3 in Medical Administration. Maddie assists Dr Norval in Theatre and works with the Admin Team to provide the best care for our patients. On weekends, Maddie enjoys spending time with her partner, baby and two pups at the beach and camping.

SENIOR MEDICAL RECEPTIONIST

Beverley started with Family First Medical Centre February 2021 and is now a Senior Medical Receptionist. Beverley leads our front receptionists to ensure we are servicing our patients to the best of our abilities. Bev has experience in many different fields, however, has always had a passion for the medical industry. Beverley spends her free time with family and enjoys watching TV series.

MEDICAL RECEPTIONIST

Michelle joined the Family First Team in January 2022 as a Medical Receptionist. Michelle has over 10 years’ experience in administration. Michelle is passionate about assisting and helping patients to the best of her ability. Michelle spends her weekends with family, going to the beach and enjoys the movie theatre.

JUNIOR MEDICAL RECEPTIONIST

Ella has been a part of the Family First since January 2022 as a Junior Medical Receptionist. Ella loves working with the Family First Team to provide for our patients. Ella spends her weekends with family and loves to spend time in the kitchen baking.

SENIOR NURSE

Jade returned to Family First Medical Centre June 2022 as our Senior Nurse. Jade worked for Family First for 8 years prior to working at Hervey Bay Hospital and is excited to be back and join the team again. Jade is a Registered Nurse and has over 10 years’ experience and mainly assisting with our DVA Gold patients. Outside of work, Jade spends her time with her family, working on her hobby farm, playing piano, and reading books.

REGISTERED NURSE

Nurse Anita started with the Family First Team in May 2022 when she moved to Hervey Bay with her family. Anita is a Registered Nurse and has over 25 years’ experience. Anita works with our doctors to provide the best care possible and to meet the needs for our patients. Outside of work, Anita spends her time with her family, taking walks along the beach and enjoys traveling.

ENROLLED NURSE

Nurse Jess joined our team March 2023 as an enrolled nurse. Originally from Canberra, Jess relocated to Hervey Bay in 2020 to finish her Diploma in nursing. Jess has spent the last few years nursing in General Practice and has a passion for working with patients to provide the best care possible. Jess is happily married and enjoys going to the beach and spending time with her family and dogs, Lucky and Daisy.
